Rotary House Lodge in Fort McMurray

The Rotary House Lodge combines independent living with the support of 24 hour residential service aides, recreation coordinator, kitchen staff, and other services. Lodge residents live privately in their own suites but have access to common areas where they can dine, socialize, and take part in activities catered to retirement lifestyles. It’s a peaceful, secure, private home in the heart of Fort McMurray.

At Rotary House, our Seniors Recreation Coordinator organizes numerous activities and excursions to fulfill many different interests and provide opportunities for learning and entertainment.

Criteria

An individual must be a resident of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo for a minimum of 3 months and be 65 years of age or older. Note: Two units are set aside for special need individuals under 65 years.

Rental costs

  • Rent is based on 30% of an individuals total income PLUS a $490.00
    per month service fee. This service fee includes meals, utilities, housekeeping and some activities
  • The rental cap for a single unit is $1155.00 and $1786.00 for
    a double unit
  • Residents in lower income brackets are allowed a disposable
    income of $265/month
