Prospect View is a 90 unit development located at 101 Plamondon Drive in the subdivision of Prospect Pointe. The community is comprised of 50 apartment and 40 townhouse units and is aimed at assisting Fort McMurray’s major public sector employers recruit and retain critical staff members.
The apartment building contains one, two and three bedroom apartment suites while the townhouses are stacked-bungalow style two and three bedroom units.
The high cost of living in Fort McMurray can be prohibitive to many of the essential employees our city needs – health professionals, educators, municipal staff and RCMP members. This workforce keeps our city safe, healthy and functioning so it is imperative to recruit and retain these employees.  This affordable housing opportunity grants new and existing public sector employees stability and security to seek out longer term housing options while adjusting to Fort McMurray’s market.
Prospect View offers one year tenancies to qualifying employees of these major public sector employers – Fort McMurray Public School District, Fort McMurray Catholic School District, Northern Lights Health Region, Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and the Fort McMurray RCMP Detachment.
