TaigaNova Eco-Industrial Park is an industrial part being developed by Wood Buffalo Housing & Development Corporation on Highway 63 just north of Fort McMurray. It is being created as an eco-industrial park meaning that it will have more efficient buildings and infrastructure, will preserve green areas, and will encourage businesses to function as a community. TaigaNova will have much less environmental impact than a conventional industrial park.

The serviced lots at TaigaNova are being sold to private businesses, creating revenue for Wood Buffalo Housing & Development Corporation. The money gained from this development will be used to support our mandate of creating affordable housing for the residents of Wood Buffalo.
